OWN!!!

Yes you read it right, the title indeed is own.

A 3 letter word which adds meaning to where ever its adds itself, makes life dull if it walks off.

I own you, i disown you plaint aint'it.

The great wall of India, the Gentleman, the humble Rahul Dravid retired from cricket, leaving behind a legacy and legend of extraordinary caliber.

He OWNed a passion for the sport, never did he swear on the feild, never did he loose his tempo, he simply kept walking and striking, and the final stoke a blaster at 39 of retirement.

Though its sad the world doesn't stop but a void gets created and that void cannot be filled.

Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2000, ICC Player of the Year and the Test Player of the Year in 2004, He is the second Indian batsman, after Sachin Tendulkar, and the third international player to reach 12,000 runs in Test cricket. On 14 February 2007, he became the sixth player overall and the third Indian (after Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly), to score 10,000 runs in ODI cricket in cricketing history. He is the first and only batsman to score a century in all ten Test playing nations. With more than 200 catches, Dravid currently holds the world record for the most number of catches in Test cricket.

Such is the legacy of "The Wall of Indian cricket" which I, you and all the Indians OWN.

Saluting Rahul for giving us a good game of cricket.
